When was the last time you officiated? If you weren’t doing an outside game, or weren’t in Europe, or umping Korean Baseball, or in a Bubble, chances are, you have been off since CoronaVirus has been on, since been on.
“And I’m only getting older,
somebody shoulda told ya,
I’m on one.” – Drake
Running Referee Rant, we never off. At least me; I’m on, and I’m on as I write this, and of course, when I publish this. It was just the other day when someone congratulated me on the perceived milestone of shipping out Episode 250 of #therant with the venerable Tamar Adams. Coach T.

He said, in his post:
Your work ethic is insane and one that I’m inspired by each and everyday. It was such an honor to share my story during these unprecedented times. Thanks you for all your genuine love and support ?
I thank you T. I feel the same about you. But that’s not what this post is about. Albeit, naturally, I’m super proud, of what I’ve accomplished, but it dawned on me that I’ve never even take the time with enjoying what I made. I’m already on the next –
“Fu*k a throwback jersey, ‘cause we on to the next one,
And fu*k that Autotune, ‘cause we on.” – Jay-Z
I tried to sit back, but I just can’t. It’s not in my nature. Once I drop an episode, it’s a work of art to me, like in a gallery, a museum – it gets it day, a birthday, but other than that, it’s there for all time for you to see.
In short, I don’t look too far ahead, and I rarely look back. I move forward and focus on the daily obligation of what I need to do, Monday to Monday. With that being said, this is the post for today. Episode 254, tomorrow.
I want to take the time to everyone that’s been rocking me from Day 1, to Episode 250.
I hope y’all ready! Until we meet again; on the court & on the field. To now, until Episode 1,000,000.
#Untiltomorrow.
